Celebrating students on and off the field
The Scholar Athlete Banquet is the largest annual event hosted by the NFF Bill Riddle Chapter. This is where we get to honor and award our hand-picked high school and college Scholar Athletes, Distinguished Arizonans, and the recipient of the Riddle Chapter Leadership award. Our banquet is a top-notch ceremony for top-notch students.

how are scholar athletes chosen?
Every year, coaches and Athletic Directors from almost 200 Arizona High Schools submit their top senior nominees. These nominations are compiled and given to the Chapter Board for review and selection. Based on our chapter criteria, 36 high school students are chosen to receive a National Football Foundation, Bill Riddle Chapter scholarship. This is also when the Scholar Athlete of the Year and the Namesake Award winners are chosen.
